Last week, Cool Blue welcomed industry friends to the annual French Bedroom press dinner, an intimate gathering hosted at Les 110 de Taillevent. With leading journalists in attendance, the evening reaffirmed the brand’s dedication to building meaningful relationships and celebrating the beautiful world of French Bedroom design.
In a chic, central London location, the evening was designed to feel both exclusive and personal. On arrival, journalists were greeted with a French 75, and the room was beautifully styled with candles, floral arrangements and a French Bedroom bed linen design made into a table runner. The room was styled to reflect the feminine, timeless, and hand-crafted essence of the brand.
Harnessing our strong relationships with the media, in attendance were top-tier journalists from a range of publications including:

Cool Blue took the opportunity to share key milestones and position the brand’s founders among leading editors. The team introduced the Founder and MD, highlighting the impressive success French Bedroom has achieved over the past year, while also thanking journalists for their continued support.
French Bedroom spoke to guests about several key highlights, including:
A prime networking opportunity, the intimate event allowed French Bedroom’s team to build closer ties with journalists, deepen media relationships, and lay the foundation for future coverage.
Georgia Metcalfe’s presence at the event also strengthened her position as a voice of authority within the interiors space, particularly for bedroom-led features.
Following the event, journalists shared the evening across their social channels, amplifying its reach. French Bedroom’s founder, Georgia Metcalfe, has also become a first-choice spokesperson for several upcoming bedroom features, bringing the brand front of mind for future stories.
Our takeaway
The event perfectly illustrated the power of immersion in building a brand’s story. By welcoming journalists into the curated world of French Bedroom, not through a press release, but via a thoughtfully designed experience, we fostered genuine engagement and trust. Strengthening these media relationships continues to shape the narrative of French Bedroom, while positioning Georgia Metcalfe as an authoritative voice in design and bedroom trends.
